Description: Fits Gaussian linear mixed models by explicitly optimizing
        the maximum likelihood or restricted maximum likelihood
        criterion. Random effects and correlated residual structures
        can be combined in the same model. Fixed-effect inference
        includes Satterthwaite and Kenward-Roger denominator degrees of
        freedom, type III tests, likelihood-ratio model comparisons,
        and estimated marginal means.
